Albums

I heard Mitch Hedberg's last album, Do You Believe in Gosh? - slow start but pretty good:

Also heard Demetri Martin's
These Are Jokes, which I like even more, but he certainly owes something to Hedberg:

And they both owe something to Steven Wright, even though I don't find Wright very funny.

And here's a music album I've been listening to: LP3 by Ratatat.

Yeah boi! Hedberg's CD isn't too great because he was "testing the waters" with his new act and died while perfecting it. If he had lived longer, whatever would have ended up becoming "Do You Believe in Gosh?" would have been better. I hope they don't release many more posthumous albums like this without promoting them as works-in-progress, because it makes him appear to be sloppier. It's funny but it's nowhere near as good as the other two. I love Steven Wright btw.

I need to check out that Ratatat album. My friends keep saying how good it is but I think of the song "Rat-Tat-Tat" by Dr. Dre whenever I see it.

Try the Demetri Martin album - I like it more than Hedberg and Wright.
